Mosaic collects no personal data. Zero. Your habits live on your device and sync only through your own iCloud. Minilabs runs no servers that store your information and has no way to see what you track.
Nothing. Mosaic does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. There is no Mosaic account, no login, no analytics SDK, and no advertising framework in the app.
All habit data — your habits, completions, streaks, notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. When you're signed into iCloud, this data syncs automatically across your own devices through Apple's CloudKit. Minilabs cannot access your iCloud data.
We never see your data. Not even in aggregate.
iCloud sync is free and works through your personal Apple ID. Your data moves only between your own devices via Apple's servers under Apple's Privacy Policy. Minilabs receives no copy of it. If you're not signed into iCloud, Mosaic simply keeps everything on-device.
Mosaic Pro is sold through the App Store as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time Lifetime purchase. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Minilabs receives only a transaction confirmation — no payment details, card numbers, or billing address.
If you've enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS, Apple may forward anonymized crash logs through Xcode Organizer. These contain technical stack-trace information only — no habit data and no personal identifiers. You can disable it any time:
Mosaic contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. The only external services it uses are Apple's own StoreKit (in-app purchases) and CloudKit (iCloud sync), both governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Mosaic does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing handled differently by age. Mosaic is rated 4+.
Your data is always yours. Export your full history as a JSON file from Settings → Export backup. To delete everything, delete the app — local data is removed immediately. If iCloud sync was active, remove the iCloud copy from Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Mosaic.
If we ever change how Mosaic handles data, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will also appear in the App Store release notes.
